Ponds Resort on the Miramichi remains true to the spirit of a classic Miramichi fly-fishing lodge yet provides all the amenities expected by today’s meetings and adventure guests. COTTAGES: Accommodations include individual riverside log cottages (called “camps” on this River) the first of which were built in the 1930s and are feet from the riverbank. One and two bedroom cabins, each well-appointed with private bathroom, are equipped with woodstoves and split wood, private porches and the ambiance of traditional fishing camps. All applicable taxes extra THE OLD LODGE: The original building on the property, the Old Lodge, built in 1927, has been restored throughout with traditional pine and has six private bedrooms, two bathrooms and a Great Room with original river stone fireplace and private dining room for 10+ people.
